O meu maior talento é conhecer pessoas espectaculares. Algumas vivem em Portugal, outras estão espalhadas pelo mundo. Nesta série convido os meus amigos distantes a enviarem um conjunto de fotos que documente a sua vida lá longe. Hoje as imagens são do Martin Bušek, que nasceu em Praga, mas que agora vive e trabalha em Dublin. Conheci-o há muitos anos, como irmão de uma grande amiga minha (olá Bara!). O Martin é designer e uma excelente pessoa. Tão excelente que até nem me importo que me chame joaninha ou beruška (que é joaninha em checo). E isso é coisa rara.

O meu maior talento é conhecer pessoas espectaculares. Algumas vivem em Portugal, outras estão espalhadas pelo mundo. Nesta série convido os meus amigos distantes a enviarem um conjunto de fotos que documente a sua vida lá longe. Hoje a convidada é a Gabriele Paul, da Estónia, que vive em Londres. Conhecemo-nos há quatro anos quando a MTV Baltic me enviou um e-mail a perguntar se podíamos receber uma estagiária durante o verão em Lisboa, para gravarem uma série. Ela veio - muito simpática e bonita - e foi muito divertido. Depois disso a Gabriele estudou no London College of Communication e hoje é designer. Sobre as fotos, ele explica: As you see, food is involved a lot! That is my favorite thing to do.

1. Dinner hosted at London College of Communication (where I study graphic design) with the food collected from various restaurants before it went to waste. It was a project for the green week!

2. Broadway market, "La bouche" is one of my favorite cafes in the area where I live. I often go there on my own. To taste, to read and to think things through.

3. I pass this house everyday when I go to the station to catch my train. The whole street is blossoming!

4. A girl from my school did a self initiated project where she baked a "table cake" - a cake the size of the table!

5. I took a walk from work to Somerset House, it was a warm evening!

6. I went to see a graphic design fair called "Pick me up", full of young talents, colours and lots of prints.

7. I went to school on Thursday to meet my best friend. We did some stop motion animation together that leaves a pile of cut outs all over the place.

O meu maior talento é conhecer pessoas espectaculares. Algumas vivem em Portugal, outras estão espalhadas pelo mundo. Nesta série convido os meus amigos distantes a enviarem um conjunto de fotos que documente a sua vida lá longe. O primeiro é o meu irmão que se chama David Pina e vive em Los Angeles. Onde é argumentista. Verdade: o meu irmão escreve filmes e séries em Hollywood. Grande pinta. E eu que nunca o fui visitar. Adoro as fotos que mandou porque cortam o sol da Califórnia com o seu preto e branco e estão cheias de grão. Diz ele sobre as imagens: As duas primeiras são no Griffith observatory - a melhor vista de LA. Nos dias sem poluição pode-se ver Santa Monica e o Pacifico desde o Hollywood sign. As três seguintes são tiradas em Venice Beach, onde jogo volleyball todos os Domigos de manhã. As três seguintes são a minha secretária no lot da Warner. E a última foi o jogo entre o Real Madrid de Mourinho e os LA Galaxy no Rose Bowl de Pasadena.
